Since its establishment in 1978, Samyung is a representative marine communication equipments provider that has grown to provide localized marine electronic communication equipments.

Based on its technology development, craftsmanship and reliability, Samyung is focusing on the advancement of its technology in domestic electronic companies through government support and Industry Academy Research Cooperation programs.

It invests over 5% of revenue into technology development every year and enters about 80 countries to establish a global network and locally differentiated marketing to grow into a major world company.

It was designated as a defense business and registered on the KOSDAQ (Korean Securities Dealers Automated Quotations) in 2003. Its patent was registered and a domestic type certification along with a total of 90 international standards certification including; CE (Conformity European), FCC (Federal Communications Commission), CCS (China Classification Society), RS (Russia Maritime Register of Shipping), R&TTE (The Radio and Telecommunications Terminal Equipment Directive), etc and ISO (International Organization for Standardization) 9001 certification, NEP mark of the Ministry of Knowledge and Economy and INNO-BIZ Korea of the Small and Medium Business Administration were acquired.
